Foraging

Foraging has recently been overhauled with the removal of Island Foraging, the addition of a new Park, and the introduction of new islands such as Galatea. The following table summarizes which script should be used for each purpose:

ScriptPurpose
Hub ForagingNew accounts, to get access to the Park.
Park ForagingVery low level foraging, and to get access to Galatea.
LushlilacA optimal method to grind for Whispers, a currency used to upgrade your stats via /hotf.
FigCurrently the primary method for general foraging, easily reaching rates of 2M xp/h.
MangroveA script for more advanced foragers with better rates, since the trees are much harder to break.

Park Foraging

Park Foraging is more intelligent than Hub Foraging, but still based on the script introduced in v3.0.

Requirements:

  • A valid axe.
  • Selection of the desired Region in settings.
  • (Optional) An etherwarp tool (e.g., AOTV with Ether Transmission) if you want the script to return to its location after a failsafe.

Other than the chosen region, no additional configuration is necessary.

Galatea

Main foraging scripts include configurable options that control and restrict behavior:

  • Tree Break Speed: This is more of an update rate, the higher the value the quicker the script will react to target logs being broken. This will make you look more lively.
  • Etherwarp Usage: Adjusts how aggressively the script uses etherwarping for faster travel.
  • Prefer Small Trees: Prioritizes smaller trees, avoiding large ones when possible.

Lushlilac

Lushlilac navigates Galatea to collect bushes and gather Whispers.

  • Assume Always Clicked: Speeds up collection by assuming the bush has been successfully clicked.
  • Interaction Method: Choose between left and right-clicking bushes. Right-clicking is recommended for players with higher ping.

If you want to get Whispers without doing lushlilac, using Black Hole fishing will always get you high in Agatha Contest's, which give Whispers as a reward.

Fig

Fig includes a wide range of settings to adapt the foraging experience to different playstyles.

SettingDescriptionNotes
Use Jump BoostDefault cutting method for tree shafts and branches.Autowalker performance is generally better without jump boost, even after v4 improvements.
Use ScaffoldingAlternative to jump boost. Allows reaching higher max Y.Provides smoother movement than jump boost.
Skip Axe ThrowingSkips breaking branches, leaving them for other players.
Prefer SneakingCosmetic change; may provide slight stability at high speeds.
Jump Boost AimingControls the precision of aiming during jump boosts.Strong aiming can appear unnatural, while the laziest setting may reduce efficiency.
Restrict RegionRestricts tree targeting to a specific region.Use the command .galatearegions to visualize available regions.

Mangrove

The Mangrove script works similar to fig, except on Mangrove trees which are much harder to break. Etherwarping is required for this script for fast travel and to get onto the top section of the tree, since Mangrove trees are chopped from top to bottom.

Sweep

The biggest difference in performance is your Sweep ability. The more sweep you have (see tablist widget in Galatea), the faster you break logs. In simple terms, the best start to get sweep are:

NameSweepDescription
(Groovy) Fig Armour~50The best foraging set, buy on AH.
(Moonglade) Figstone Splitter50-70The best axe, buy on AH.
Legendary David's Cloak~100Do David Huntingborough to get the "David's Cloak" item, then use Shard script to get every attribute which upgrades the Cloak to Legendary.
HOTF Menu50Up to +50 sweep by upgrading the Sweep level in /hotf. Whispers are the currency from the Lushlilac script.
Fig/Mangrove Sharpening X50-100Depending on the tree you're cutting, you can upgrade the respective attribute to level 10 in /attributes. This sweep increase will not show up in tab.

Other options in /hotf such as "Forest Strength" will also help - for a tutorial on a fully max setup, visit a SkyBlock wiki.
